The short answer
Face-tracked, not a blur
Streamfog tracks your face and treats skin separately, so your OBS beauty filter smooths skin without smearing the background or your outline. Free to try with a watermark; Beauty Pro removes it.
Runs in OBS
Add Streamfog as a browser source for a direct OBS workflow, or select Streamfog as your virtual camera in OBS and Streamlabs.
Built for live streaming
Skin smoothing, teeth whitening, contouring, highlights, makeup, blur, and greenscreen run in real time while you stream.
Add a beauty filter to OBS in three steps
1. Install Streamfog
Download Streamfog for Windows, macOS, or Linux. The watermarked version works in OBS right away.
2. Pick your look
Choose a beauty preset — skin smoothing, teeth whitening, contouring, highlights, and makeup — and fine-tune each slider to taste. Add background blur or greenscreen if you want it.
3. Add it in OBS
Use the browser-source path for a direct OBS setup, or select Streamfog as your virtual camera. Your beauty cam appears in your scene instantly.

Is there an OBS beauty filter plugin?
OBS does not ship with a built-in beauty filter, and Streamfog is not a native OBS plugin that appears in the Sources → Filters menu. Streamfog is a desktop app that connects to OBS through a browser source or virtual camera.
That distinction matters. A free OBS script or shader can soften the whole image, apply a LUT, or blur blemishes. Streamfog can detect your face, target skin instead of the entire frame, preserve facial detail, add makeup and contouring, and run background blur or greenscreen at the same time.
Free OBS scripts
Best for DIY users who want blur, LUTs, or shader experiments and do not mind manual setup.
Native OBS plugins
Best when you need a filter inside OBS itself. Most free beauty options are narrow and technical.
Streamfog
Best when you want face-aware beauty, makeup, virtual camera compatibility, and a fast setup.
A beauty filter for live streaming
Smoother skin, instantly
Real-time skin smoothing, teeth whitening, and retouching even out your look on camera — no makeup chair, no post-production, live the moment you go on.
Makeup & contouring in one click
Contouring, highlights, and full makeup — blush, lipstick, eye shadow, and more — applied in real time. Dial each slider from subtle to full glam.
Blur or greenscreen, in parallel
Run background blur or a greenscreen at the same time as your beauty look — clean up your background without a second app.
Troubleshooting OBS beauty filters
Streamfog does not show in OBS
Restart OBS after installing, then add Streamfog as a browser source or choose Streamfog from the camera device list.
The effect looks too strong
Lower smoothing first, then adjust contour, highlights, and makeup. Subtle settings usually look better on stream.
Background blur conflicts
Run beauty and background effects in the same Streamfog look instead of stacking multiple apps on one camera feed.
You need Streamlabs too
Use the same virtual camera in Streamlabs. For Snap Camera-style AR effects, see the Snap Camera alternative page.
Remove the watermark when you go live.
Streamfog Beauty Pro removes the watermark for $12.99/mo, or $119.99/yr when billed yearly.
